The latest Journal Citation Reports (2016) have just been released by Thomson Reuters, and the newest impact factor of Chinese Journal of Catalysis is 2.813, which is the highest value for our journal since it was indexed by SCI in 2001. The journal ranks the 17th among the 72 international journals (23.61%, Q1) in the subject of applied chemistry, and it is also a top two chemistry journal in China in terms of SCI impact factor over the past 6 years in a row.

We see our role as reporting the state of the art of research in every aspect of catalysis and promoting the development of catalysis science and technology not only in China and Asian region, but also from all around the world through attraction and publication of high quality research work.

The flourish of the journal in these years relies heavily on the enormous efforts of the Editorial Board Members and the peer reviewers, who have tirelessly devoted themselves to the growth of the journal by providing professional and helpful feedback. On behalf of the editorial team, we sincerely thank our authors for choosing our journal as the platform to publish their important and significant work. It is well expected that the quality and international influence of Chinese Journal of Catalysis will steadily increase in the future with your continued support.
